Making Bath Bombs
On Tuesday, March 7th, STEM Sorority members got to make their very own bath bombs!
The key ingredients used were sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) and citric acid (C6H8O7) to create an acid-base reaction, cornstarch (C27H48O20) to hold it together, and epsom salts (MgSO4·7H2O). Members then got to customise their bath bombs by choosing their own scents and mould.
After leaving the mixture in the moulds for a day to dry, the bath bombs were complete and ready to take home!
